No.74 Sqn RAF English Electric Lightning F.Mk6 XR769, Tengah 1972. My own and Tom Potter's Airfix scale models seen here...

Hot news...
Do you like the new logo for our new scale model club here in South Lincolnshire?

Many thanks to Ashley Keates for his superb design work!

Hello! Thanks for visiting my site. Many of you visiting may know me from the chats we've had at scale modelling events like the various club shows around the UK and the IPMS UK Nationals at Telford.

NEW - see the Flown Cover section for some unique signed flown covers: "Ginger" Lacey, Adolf Galland, Erich Hartmann...

Recent changes include the 'Gallery' section. The Gallery is now divided up into four different Sections:

RAF Gallery
USAF Gallery
Luftwaffe Gallery and
Russian & Israeli Gallery

This should help simplify the home page and hopefully make it easier for you to navigate your way around and find the subjects that you are interested in? We'll see!

My first love in this great hobby of ours is aircraft scale modelling - mainly RAF post WWII and Luftwaffe in WWII. So what's in here? Well it's all pretty new to me, the site has only been up and running for about 9 months. My intention is to be able to eventually offer lots of things...including:

Images, text and captions for many of my scale modelling projects - with more 'how to' tips and ideas to help you if you're interested?

Reference photographs and other useful stuff

Unmade kits and accessories , plus some of my made up scale models for sale

Flown commemorative signed philatelic covers - I've a huge collection of signatures, many rare and very rare signatures amongst them (Willi Messerschmitt, Kurt Tank, Douglas Bader, Barnes Wallis etc) - many of these will be available for sale following a recent purchase of a Hans Rossbach collection and collection of duplicates over the years

Useful reference data and historical information about the pilots, aircrew and names behind the famous signatures

I hope you enjoy your visit! Best wishes, Geoff.
